HEALTH EDUCATION WORKSHOPS
HeathShare International organized a highly successful dentistry workshop for nurses of the Ye'Kwana and Sanema communities.
The workshop was led by two Venezuelan dentists who provided technical instruction in preventative dental practice to promote general oral hygiene.
All the nurses involved were supplied with basic dental tools and were given one week of intensive instruction.
At the end they were fully equipped to return to their villages and provide preventative dental services.
